The works of René Myrha have something scenographic. In the Mannerist and Baroque periods, he might have opened up the spaces of churches, gardens, and stages. Now he populates his scenes with his own constantly changing structures as a dense and permeable spatial conception based on the similar and the different. Sometimes he changes the structure through the transparent light, sometimes the light through the structure. This is how it looks; but in reality he does both simultaneously. Mood, perception and sense of time are traced as continuous in a continuous process: As if he immersed his eyes and his hand in the flow of Heraclitus, contemplating the play of forms and light and being part of it at the same time.
