cameron clayborn works with materials such as paper, plaster ceiling paint, and insulation made from recycled clothing. clayborn's artistic practice includes sculpture as well as drawing and performance. Because of their presence and texture, clayborn's works are characterized by an interplay of distance and proximity, solidity and fragility, physicality and abstraction. In 2021 clayborn was awarded the Baloise Art Prize.
